I found this peacoat on sale at Restoration Hardware. I know! Restoration Hardware. I'm skeptical, but the price was really good. So, if I'm happy with it I can always have it altered (it's a unisex, so I suspect it's going to need altering to some degree). We'll see...

I think red rooms are very difficult to pull off. But this one, as shown in Elle Decor, is a showcase of how to do it right (the interior designer is Bibi Monnahan). I mean, Wow!, I would love to walk into this room everyday. It's modern, traditional, and hollywood glam all-in-one. I would have to stack those magazines in the lower right corner, though.
We selected the art for the master bedroom... our friend Kelly Walker is the artist behind this multi-medium piece (http://baltimoreartstar.com/). It blends beautifully into the room and provides the perfect focal point. Thank you, Kelly!

The wall color is RL "Prince" - upon the first few brush strokes I wondered if I had chosen correctly, but I love it. I think in an empty room the color is not one that you would necessarily find appealing.... however, once I started putting the room together it all fit wonderfully, which was my intended plan since I chose the color to coordinate with the other items (Yay for me!) The hunt is now on for the perfect piece of art above the bed - I'm thinking an abstract with shades of yellow to bring in some color against the neutral tones.
